Qualifications

We are looking for a committee that, as a whole, has the following skills and experience:

Understanding of the current GGC Strategic Plan and the skill set to best serve on Ontario Council under the current Strategic Plan.
Knowledge of governance and the governance model of GGC and Ontario Council.
Interview skills and assessment techniques.
Experience in the field of human resources and recruitment.
Understanding of diversity and inclusion, and its application to the recruitment process.

Please note: each candidate does not need to possess all of the above skills to be an effective member of the committee. We are looking for a well-rounded committee where we have a balance of the skills mentioned above!

The purpose of the Nominating and Search Committee is to ensure effective succession of qualified individuals on Ontario Council by recruiting and presenting a slate of nominees for the election process for members of Ontario Council.

The Nominating and Search Committee is responsible for actively recruiting women to serve on Ontario Council.
