The sale of GGC branded or non-branded merchandise as a fundraiser is not permitted.

Large volume orders above and beyond the number of event attendees will not be approved, even if the volume of the order is to obtain a production discount. With large orders that exceed the number of event participants, there is a lack of clarity as to how the financials are being tracked and managed and a risk that sales are (inadvertently or purposefully) turning into fundraising efforts. Merchandise should be created only for the current Guiding year. Brand colours, fonts and elements are subject to change.

What fonts are you using in your artwork?*

There are four official GGC fonts that can be used on merchandise.

Ideal Sans Semibold is our core font. It requires a license to use. The cost per user is covered by GGC, but to keep spending manageable, usage is restricted to professionally produced or printed pieces. It should only be used on our logo and tagline.

Our brand font is the universal Arial font family. This includes Arial Regular, Bold, Black and Italic. Arial can be found in the font drop down tab in all PC and Mac programs.

Fredoka One, Oleo Script and Patrick Hand are our three expressive accent fonts. All of the GGC expressive fonts are Google fonts and are free to download at fonts.google.com.

Other fonts may be used only in graphic elements. For example, it is acceptable to use an icy-looking font for the words Chillfest on the Chillfest event crest.

Please submit digital artwork or the design proof produced by the merchandise provider. Hand-drawn artwork will not be approved, however, you may submit hand-drawn designs to see if they will meet brand standards. Once a proof is provided by the supplier, you will need to re-submit it for approval.
