Award Criteria

Girl Guides of Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Council has developed the following criteria to recognize the efforts of an outstanding youth member of the organization.
This award will be given to a member who;

has lived in Newfoundland and Labrador for a period of not less than two years
has been a member of Guiding for at least three years, not necessarily consecutive
is currently registered as a Ranger

The nominee will have many of the following characteristics:

Shows leadership among their peers and in the community
Acts as a role model for their peers and for younger girls
Actively provides service in their community
Lives by the Guiding Promise and Law
